fall staples

Hey guys! Today i decided to post up my fall must haves for this season. I know following trends can be tricky so i hope i can help you out! These are items that i have seen almost everywhere this fall season.

1. These are awesome shoes, because they look like sneakers, but they actually have a wedge inside of them! So you can still be comfortable, but add that extra height. You can find these at stevemadden.com
2. You can never go wrong with a dark red lipstick for fall. This specific one is hang up by MAC. Whether you have light or dark skin, this lipstick can work on anyone. Revlon also has a cheaper version of this called Wine Not that you can pick up at any drugstore!
3. Oxblood is the in color this year for fall. The easiest and most fashionable way to work this color is through a nice pair of skinny jeans.
4. An army green jacket is a piece that everyone should have this season. I recently picked one up from H&M and i am obsessed with it. 
5. Backpacks have come and gone, but now they are back. This one is from urban outfitters and is perfect for school, walking in the city, or vacations. You can never go wrong with a neutral color backpack.
6. Leather is a huge trend this year. These are called liquid leggings and can be found at windsorstore.com or Nordstroms. These are an easy way to dress up any outfit. Pair these with a sweater and heels and you're ready for the city!
7. Big jumpers and sweaters are always perfect for when the chilly weather hits. You can pair a cream sweater with any pair of pants in your closet.
8. For fall, a deeper scent is needed. Time to pack up all our fruity body sprays and go back to perfumes, which tend to last longer. My absolute favorite scent for fall is Narcisco Rodriguez for her in the black bottle. It can be found at Sephora. 

i'm back

Wow, guess who's back after a month?! ME. Yes, i know it's been quite a while, but i needed to take a break for a bit because of work and school. My life was getting a little too hectic. But anyway, this is an outfit i put together to go into the city. I really love my floral jeans, and they surprisingly go with a lot in my wardrobe. Another favorite of mine has been peplum tops. Absolutely obsessed.

Wow, i am so sorry i haven't uploaded in like a month. School is really hectic when the end of the year comes around, but i am finally here to say I am back! School is finally over, and this summer i plan on uploading at least twice a week! This is what i'm wearing today to my family's fathers day bbq. It's a little chilly and cloudy so these trousers were a must. They are quickly becoming a new favorite in my closet.

I've been lusting over the runway shoes for the upcoming seasons, but these three particularly caught my eye. Alexander Wang put such a spin on the designs and i love it. Karl Lagerfield you are truly a genius, i mean those crystals! I'm in love. I also really loved Ralph Lauren's collection. Simple, yet elegant and fun is what came to my mind. colorblocking

a pop of neon color. These cambridge satchels are huge this spring/summer.

ombre hair. i've been wanting to ombre my hair for about a year now but i always get nervous last minute and chicken out! Should i do it?

coral lipstick. 

Oxfords have been in for a while now, but i feel like they will be bigger this upcoming season. Everyone needs a pair.

Colored jeans. I don't think you can walk into a store anymore without seeing these.

Since it's been rainy and icky and i haven't gotten a chance to go outside to put up a post, i decided to share with you some of the trends of 2012. As you can see, colors are going to be huge this year. Of course i barely go out of my comfort zone and wear neutrals almost everyday, but this season i actually have worn some bright jeans and have done some colorblocking. I recommend to everybody to just do something fun and different. Go pick up a pair of colored jeans you might never have before or a bright neon bag. This spring it's all about doing different things and having fun!

Sorry it's been a while since i uploaded, but school and work are taking over my life! This is just something i wore to school and i really liked the way it looked. Super casual and comfortable for these hot days that suddenly hit. When i saw this hamsa design tank top at urban outfitters i had to have it. It has a large cut out in the back, hence the reason i wore this light blue button down unbuttoned over it.Oh, and I love how my dog had to be in at least one picture. He's a camera whore, what can i say?
